Rare Breed Sheep
We specialise in breeding a vareity of Rare Breed sheep:
Wiltshire Horn sheep were originally bred in southern England primarily for meat and, unusually, shed their wool naturally in Spring.

Hebridean sheep are a hardy and attractive Scottish breed known for their disease restistance, low need for maintenance, good mothering and they are often used to train sheepdogs.

Castlemilk Moorit are another Scottish breed with similar characteristics to the Hebridean, which include good mothering.

The ultra-rare African Cameroon sheep, like the Wltshire horn, sheds naturally in spring and was originally bread for meat production.

Please note: we do require any buyers of our sheep stock to have a County Parish Holding (CPH) Number and experience handling sheep.

We hatch and raise a variety of rare chicken breeds at Eden Acres, specialising in Pekin, Frizzle, Smooth Head, Rhode Island Reds, Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Legbar and Auracana Chickens.
